Affiliate Disclosure

Plain-English detail on how TheBettingBonus.com makes money, and why it doesn't influence what we recommend.

What this site is

TheBettingBonus.com is an independent UK comparison and information site for sports betting. We do not take bets, hold customer funds, or offer any gambling product ourselves. When you click a bookmaker link on our site, you leave and open an account directly with that UKGC-licensed operator — not with us.

How we make money

We participate in affiliate programmes run by UK bookmakers. When you click one of our outbound links (marked with #ad or a "Visit" button) and subsequently open a funded account, the bookmaker may pay us a one-off referral commission. The price you pay, the odds you get and the welcome offer you receive are identical to going direct.

Editorial independence

No bookmaker on this site has paid for a higher rating and there is no premium tier or pay-for-placement scheme. Ratings, rankings and written reviews are produced by our editorial team. Read more on our About page. Where a commercial relationship exists, we mark it. Where content is sponsored, we would mark it clearly and separate it from editorial — at present, we do not publish sponsored content.

Regulatory context

Under the UK Advertising Standards Authority's CAP Code (Section 16), affiliate marketing content is treated the same as marketing from the bookmaker itself — there is no separate "affiliate exemption". We take that seriously: our promotional copy carries the required 18+ marker, T&Cs signposting, and a link to safer gambling resources on every page.

Placeholder offers

Bonus wording, welcome offers and any specific bonus figures shown on this site are placeholder content until our live affiliate feeds are fully connected. Always confirm the current, authoritative welcome offer directly on the operator's own website before depositing.
